Botetourt Club/Education Center Charity Partnership Marks 20 Years

Thanksgiving 2008 marks the twentieth anniversary of a special relationship between the Kiwanis Club of Botetourt, the students at Botetourt Technical Education Center, and more than 600 grateful people in Botetourt County. Tabb Kiwanis Club and Point Option Key Club Dine

The Annual Thanksgiving Dinner sponsored by the Point Option High School and Point Option Key Club has been a project that has been in existence since 1994. The Point Option Key Club which is sponsored by The Kiwanis Club of Tabb, Virginia every year shares a Thanksgiving Dinner with their classmates, Families, Teachers and their sponsoring Kiwanis Club. This year the High School and Key Club prepared food for 80 people. They added a few skits about Thanksgiving. All the food was prepared by the students. Poquoson Kiwanis Club did an interclub with the Key Club and Tabb Kiwanis Club.
