by Allan Kjala
The Dover Kiwanis Club recently recognized two local businesses for their continued support of the "Goodies & Goblins at the Ag Museum" Halloween event which features treat or treating in the adjacent village and a Children's Costume Contest sponsored by the Kiwanis Club for more than 35 years. The Club expressed appreciation to the WAWA store located on Dupont Highway for donating juice boxes for the hundreds of children in attendance and to the Happy Harry's Pharmacy on Route 8 for donating candy and children ID kits. Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. Persons interested in joining this active community service club can contact President Neill McLean at (302) 678-5725.
