(Above) Every year, the Grafton Kiwanis Club, the Grafton High Key Club and the Grafton Middle School Builders Club visit Regency Health Care Center, a nursing home in York County, to sing Christmas Carols and deliver gifts to residents. Members carol throughout the building singing to residents in their rooms and common areas.

(Above) Over 1500 cans of food Donated! The Grundy Kiwanis Club and the Grundy Key Club of Division 8 held a food drive for the three local food pantries. Local businesses and churches also helped by donating cans and with monetary donations. The monetary donations were distributed equally among the three food banks. Kiwanis members Brandee Owens, chairman and Priscilla Johnson, President, spearheaded the drive. The Grundy Kiwanis and Key Clubs thank all who participated in this project, in giving to others less fortunate we participate in the true meaning of Christmas.

The Virginia Beach Kiwanis Club joined the Hope Haven Children's Home for their annual Christmas Breakfast on Saturday, December 5th. They provide shelter for families, health and dental care, counseling, substance abuse programs, and job training. We had a wonderful time listening to the children sing Christmas carols. On Tuesday, December 15th, our club served the women of Virginia Beach in our annual Salvation Army Christmas Depot. While there, many members assisted women in need to pick out toys and other gifts for their children. This project is one of the club's favorites every year! We made sure to take time to celebrate the Holiday Season with a social on Saturday, December 12th. We had a great time catching up with members and their spouses. We are looking forward to a fantastic 2010!
