Rehoboth Beach K-Kids

Rehoboth Beach Kiwanians, K-Kids from Rehoboth ES, and Rehoboth Boys and Girls Club collaborated with Applebee's Saturdays in May to run Alex's Lemonade Stand collecting donations for Children's Cancer Research. At the mid-way point, they collected more than $500 and earned a few chocolate milkshakes and sundaes for their hard work.

At the May 15 Pancake Breakfast, the Kiwanians and Key Clubbers joined with the K-Kids at Applebee's to serve pancakes and sausage to the hungry customers who saw the ads in local newspapers and on the local TV station, WRDE- RTV. The service was outstanding and personal with tips accounting for a good portion of the profits.
