Kiwanis Club of Waldorf received a $500 gift from the PNC Bank Waldorf Branch to be used for materials to build a handicap ramp. Club Treasurer, Tim Estevez, also manager of the bank, presented the check to Club President, Rob Parks. |

General Smallwood Middle School in Indian Head, Maryland, chartered a Builders Club with 56 members. The banner was presented and proudly displayed during the chartering dinner and ceremony at the school. The Builders Club is co-sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Charles County and the Kiwanis Club of Waldorf. |

The Kiwanis Club of Waldorf's Jerry Peuler presented the club's Charles County Citizen of the Year Award to John Hayden of The Chemical People. Thirty years ago, he developed Project Graduation, an alcohol-free graduation party held annually on two nights for all graduates of the six county high schools. The three Charles County Kiwanis Clubs provide volunteers and food for the event. |
